Welcome to Your Achieve3000!
Achieve3000 reaches every student at his or her own level. Your child will regularly receive reading and writing materials that are not too easy or too difficult, but are at just the right level to help increase literacy skills.

Your school has already purchased Achieve3000. Your child will be using the program in school, and you can both access the program 24/7—anytime, anywhere. If your child is in grade 5 or below, he/she will use KidBiz3000. Students in grades 6-8 use TeenBiz3000; high school students use Empower3000.
KidBiz3000, TeenBiz3000, and Empower3000 are proven to increase reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills for students in grades 2–12. Click here to learn how.
It's easy to sign up for your FREE Home Edition account—and it takes just a minute! Your child's school has already paid for your account. Best of all, with your Home Edition account, you can help your child perform even better at school.
To sign up for your account, please ask your child's teacher to send home the Home Edition setup instructions with your child. Your child's teacher can print this letter herself, from her Achieve3000 Teacher's Edition. All Elementary School students received the Home Edition letter with the report cards that were mailed home in the beginning of February.
Once you are up and running, there are a few simple things you can do to get the very most out of your Home Edition:
Research shows that students who complete 40 Achieve3000 activities per year make significant reading level increases. If your child gets on twice a week—and reaches 80 activities by the end of the year—you'll will see even more gains: three times better than expected!
Your child’s school has scheduled Achieve3000 time during the day. But you, too, can play an important role in making sure your child completes 40-80 activities.
- Encourage your child to work on Achieve3000 at home. If possible, pick a consistent day of the week and time of day to work on Achieve3000. We provide new content every day, so there’s always something new for your child to do on the program. And, your child can earn points and achievements for work completed at home!
- Let your child know how proud you are of each activity he/she completes.
- Tell your child that it means a lot to you that he/she completes two activities each week.
- Show your child that you’re interested. Read the Articles to spark at-home discussions with your child.
Learn the Five-Step Literacy Routine
To build literacy skills, Achieve3000 utilizes a simple five-step process. Each step is based on decades of best practices that have evolved out of many years of reading research. The 5-Step Literacy Routine asks children to:
- Step1: Respond to the Before Reading Poll
- Step2: Read the Article
- Step 3: Do the Activity Questions
- Step 4: Respond to the After Reading Poll
- Step 5: Complete the Thought Question
Click here for a video explaining the five step routine.
Your child took a placement test called LevelSet when he or she first started using Achieve3000. The test determined your child’s reading level so that he/she can be matched with reading and writing materials at the correct level. This test will be administered in school so when your child logs on at home, his or her reading level is already set.
Be sure to check your child’s LevelSet score so you can track his/her growth on Achieve3000.
To check your child’s LevelSet score:
- Sign in to your Home Edition
- Click Admin at the top of the screen
- Click Performance Reports
- Click How are my children performing on LevelSet?
- Click View Report
After taking LevelSet, your child will start completing multiple choice activities. If your child was placed correctly in the program, his/her activity scores should be around 75%.
